    A Strategic Account Manager is responsible for maintaining regular contact with account base and increases revenue from positioning and demonstrating new and existing products, preparing appropriate ROI’s  and providing proactive and strategic solutions to their clientele.   The Strategic Account Manager drives sales revenue by building a relationship with key players in their accounts; penetrating the account at all levels and all subsidiaries; becoming a trusted advisor on background screening services and related products to meet the needs of their accounts; The SAM stays in total engagement with the account during the final steps of the sales cycle, implementation and on - going to secure their accounts for the long term.  The strategic account manager will work with the necessary resources from the Sales, Product, Vice President of Account Management to assure fulfillment of the clients’ requirements. The SAM typically manages accounts that are considered Enterprise clients/and or fortune 50+.

    Responsibilities

    Responsibilities/Duties:

    • Develops corporate contacts and cultivates relationships at all levels that enhances Accurate Background position, which may lead to incremental business within the designated account
    • Prepares quarterly and annual business reviews and multiple year account plans for each account based on short, mid and long-range plans. Provides Statistical usage reports for regular client meetings
    • Negotiates pricing and implementation and prepares proposals for offering Accurate Background additional products and services (up-sells products and services)
    • Analyzes client usage through reports and regular client contact and identifies potential opportunities or account issues and reports all activity to Key Stakeholders
    • Profiles clients and strategically drives sales revenue through offering and selling product solutions, with new business units, divisions, client vendors both direct and indirect
    • Works with internal and external resources, i.e. to ATS providers on implementation of new services /and or integrations
    • Responsibilities will include up selling and strategic account penetration
    • Acts as lead on client-driven special projects.
    • Travel required 15-20%

    Other Duties:

    • Other tasks as required by management.
    • Upsell services to clients as needs develop

    Qualifications

    Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

    • 5+ years Account Management in HR-related industry.
    • College Degree Desirable or equivalent experience.
    • Ability to manage, lead and mentor direct reports
    • Must be proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
    • Exercises a wide range of decision making control
    • Very skillful in formulating solutions for difficult decisions
    • Excels in suggesting optional solutions
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
